Nelly Moser Clamadis in the glow of the evening sunOne of the perennials we added to our flower garden last year was the Nelly Moser Clamadis you see in this photo. It never flowered last year however over the last couple days the Clamadis has presented a dozen or so of these big beautiful flowers. I couldn’t help but get the camera out and take a few photos.

This photo was taken in RAW format and processed as a single photo HDR using Photomatix 4. I then performed a few minor tweaks with Lightroom 3 and finally added a filter using Topaz Adjust 4.

    • Thanks for the kind words and for stopping by to comment Adam! I too enjoy capturing all the tiny details in macro photography, I really need to focus on it a bit more than I do!
