Yellow Wild Flowers

When I head out with the intent of taking digital pictures I try to find an interesting subject. Sometimes it seems that all I end up with a some good pictures of hum drum subjects. I captured this picture while taking a nature walk armed with my digital camera. I kept my eyes open for something out of the ordinary. I’ve got oodles of digital photos of wild flowers and various other nature scenes. When I saw the small insects parading up and down these wild flowers I felt that it would make an interesting subject. What could have been an ordinary digital picture of some yellow wild flowers now has some added character thanks to the aphids infesting these flowers. With my camera set in macro mode I used the aperture settings to make the flowers in the foreground in focus while the flowers in the background are blurred which is a technique I’ve learned to love!
This is a great picture! Very cool how you got in close on the insects, I love when I can capture something unusual to make a picture more interesting!! What kind of digital camera do you use?
